The Ankeny School Foundation is pleased to announce the recipients of the Foundation grants the 2016-2017 school year.  This year the foundation provided 67 grants totaling $49,526.03. This is an increase of 26 grants and $16,000 from the previous year's granting cycle.

Since its inception in 2000, the Foundation has awarded nearly $370,000 to teachers, clubs, students, and parents for use in educational endeavors that benefit students in Ankeny and reach beyond the regular budget limitations of the school system.

"We are excited to provide these grants to help support the educational experience of students in Ankeny Schools," said Darrin Eilander, Foundation President. "The teachers and students alike have been thrilled to receive money for everything from robots and books to events and activities."
