The Ankeny Community School District Foundation Grant Program supports innovative and impactful projects that enhance student learning and contribute to the educational experience in our schools.
Eligibility
- The grant program is open to all current teachers and educators within the Ankeny Community School District.
- Projects must directly benefit students and align with the district’s educational goals.
Grant Requirements
- Grants must enhance and support the education experience for Ankeny students and align with the mission of the Ankeny Community School District Foundation.
- Proposals may be submitted by teachers and/or educators of the Ankeny Community School District (ACSD) and be approved by a school administrator prior to submitting.
- If funded, grant equipment and materials will become the property of the ACSD. Equipment and software must be compatible with the district’s systems and follow the district’s use policy.
- Recipients will submit a report of the grant project and receipts should be submitted by January 30. Upon final report, any unallocated or unspent funds will be returned to the Foundation for redistribution.
Application Procedures
- Complete the online application form available on the Foundation website.
- Project Proposal: Provide a detailed description of your request, including objectives, timeline, and anticipated outcomes.
- Budget: Include an itemized budget outlining how the grant funds will be allocated. Include the funding you are seeking from the Ankeny School Foundation and whether you are also using funding from other sources.
- The 2024 Grant Application will be open from Thursday, Aug. 15, 2024 through Tuesday, Oct. 1, 2024. Late submissions will not be considered.
- Grant applicants will be notified of their funding status in early November.
